Engineering Achievement Award Winner

FAC is proud to announce that we have been awarded the prestigious Årets Norske Ingeniørbragd for 2011 (Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award for Norway).

This marks the second time that we have been honoured by our industry piers since the company formed in 2009. In 2010 FAC received the European Aluminium Award for industrial design and engineering.

We export to China, South Africa, and the United States as well as mainland Europe and Scandinavia Each year you will find one of our parts in 20% of all cars manufactured in Germany and 40% of all cars manufactured in the UK.

Benteler Automotive, Paderborn, Germany, has taken over Farsund Aluminium Casting AS (FAC). With the acquisition of FAC, Benteler Automotive wants to expand the know-how in the aluminum sector and lightweight construction by including the key technology of cast aluminum.
